About the Monument
Welcome to the Texas Capitol Vietnam Veterans Monument. Dedicated on March 29th, 2014, the monument stands as a permanent tribute to the Texans who answered the nation’s call during the Vietnam War. It is intended to be a “living monument” that includes an online educational archive of veterans stories, photos and videos that will officially preserve the history of Texans in the Vietnam War.

Stan C Parker Foundation is asking for donations.
Published by Stan Parker · August 27 at 9:08 PM ·
Between Waco and Temple, we have right at 500 permanent residents in the VA Hospital system. They are in desperate need of many items. We intend to provide Christmas gifts to these ladies and gentlemen in the way of socks, toothbrushes, tooth paste, toboggans, combs, brushes, shampoo. KWTX-TV and Waco Scottish Rite are drop off locations for donations. Waco Scottish Rite Bodies has agreed to match cash donations up to $2500 for this cause. Please talk to your people and see what they can do. We have until the 20th of November to bring this together. Please call me at 254.749.4934 for more information.
